Jacqueline Wright
Jacqueline Wright has always had a flair for planning and promoting special events. Even at the tender age of 16, Jackie was on every event committee her high-school had to offer.
Many years later, Jackie has worked very hard to make her passion of planning and promoting events, a life long career commitment.
After graduating from Kent State University with a B.A. in Communications, Ms. Wright found herself thrown in the harsh reality of the "real world". Luckily, the jobs God's shinned upon her with a wonderful first job opportunity working for General Motors Corporation in Detroit. While at General Motors, Jackie refined her skills in the areas of Internal Communications and Special Events. Jackie eventually moved on taking her invaluable experience from GM and going to work for such corporations and Grant Thornton LLP and Volkswagen of America in the areas of Marketing and Public Relations. Ms. Wright has also been very passionate about donating her time to various community and professional organizations. She has been an active member of the Public Relations Society of America and has participated in various charity functions such as AFAN's Black and White Ball.
In the winter of 2002, Jackie decided to pack up the U-haul and make the trek out west to Sin City. After arriving in Sin City and knowing only her brother, she set out to build a great network of business contacts and obtained a stellar position working as the Regional Manager of Special Events and Public Relations for Macy's Departments stores. Unfortunately, in December of 2003, Ms. Wright's position with Macy's was eliminated due to budget cuts.
As 2004 starts anew, Ms. Wright is actively seeking new employment with a corporation who will be able to use her vast skills in the areas of Public Relations, Special Events and Marketing. Jackie is also working hard on achieving her dream of starting her own PR and Events business.
