John F. O’Reilly
John F. O’Reilly is Chairman and CEO of the law firm of O’Reilly & Ferrario. He is also Chairman and CEO of Business Resource Group and the O'Reilly Gaming Group and is the owner of Renco, Inc., a licensed real estate broker and general contractor.
John O’Reilly’s achievements and leadership positions are numerous. Among those positions, John serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Sierra Pacific Resources (Nevada Power Company), the Board of Trustees of the UNLV Foundation, the Advisory Council of the UNLV International Gaming Institute and the Board of Trustees of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. An Air Force veteran, John is currently a member of the Air Force Association and numerous non-profit organizations such as the Knights of Malta, Boulder Dam Area Boy Scout Council, United Way and Boys and Girls Clubs, American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and Nevada Police and Fire Emerald Society, to name a few.
One of the most knowledgeable and respected gaming experts in the country, John was appointed Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission and served as a member of the Nevada Gaming Policy Committee. In addition, he served as Chairman and CEO of a publicly traded gaming company.
Over the past several years, John O’Reilly served as Chairman of the Board of Strategic Associates, Inc., a company which led the business planning process relating to the redevelopment of downtown Las Vegas and the creation of the Fremont Street Experience. He also served as President of the Clark County Bar Association, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of NTS Development Corporation, a nonprofit corporation formed to encourage economic development activities at and related to the Nevada Test Site.
A graduate of St. Louis University where he earned his Juris Doctor and Bachelor degrees, John also received his MBA from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, golfing, traveling, exploring and spending time with his family.
