Kimberly P. Stein graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) with a B.S. in Managerial Finance in 1992. In 1995, Ms. Stein received her Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from UNLV. Ms. Stein obtained her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2003, where she was a member of the Journal of Science & Technology Law board, the Civil Litigation Program and the Phi Delta Phi honor society board. She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Stein is admitted to the United States District Court, District of Nevada.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Stein worked in both the banking and gaming industries for over ten years. Ms. Stein worked for various companies in Nevada, including First Interstate Bank of Nevada, Alliance Gaming, Casino Data Systems and Mikohn Gaming. Ms. Stein has also served as an Adjunct Professor in Economics at UNLV.
Ms. Stein is a long-term resident of Las Vegas and remains active in the community. Ms. Stein currently serves on the board of the UNLV MBA Alumni Council. She has also served on the board of the Nevada Council of Economic Education, participated as a member of the Las Vegas West Rotary club, and participated as a member of the I Had a Dream Foundation.
