Jason Lazar is a co-founder and the director of corporate development for KeyOn Communications, a Las Vegas-based wireless broadband services provider. With the company for more than two years, Lazar is responsible for the implementation of KeyOn’s retail and wholesale sales plans; maintaining strategic reseller relationships with local agents, commercial property owners and managers; and drafting and executing wholesale partnerships with regional and national Internet Service Providers (ISP).
Prior to joining KeyOn, Lazar served as director of ITU Ventures, a venture capital firm with over $70 million under management, designed to invest in and develop technology businesses emerging from the nation’s top research institutions. He was instrumental in building ITU Ventures’ core business of sourcing cutting-edge technologies and procuring an additional $10 million in follow-on financing.
Lazar is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in International Relations. He went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in New York. There, he graduated in the top third of his class and was selected to the Executive Board of the Arts and Entertainment Law Journal.
An active member of the community, Lazar is on the Board of Directors of Hackensack University Medical Center and the Strategic Advisory Board for the Pepperdine University Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Law. He also served as co-chair of the Children’s Hearing Institute Young Professionals.
