Led by 16-year veteran HR professional Fred Harmon, HRS is a team of seasoned professionals available for special projects or comprehensive outsourcing of human resources. Harmon’s professional history includes opening the MGM Grand in 1992, the largest hotel in the world at that time, as part of the hotel operation’s management team. In 1995, Harmon was charged with establishing MGM Grand’s culture and guiding principles through service and leadership training during the transition of a gaming resort in Darwin, Australia. Following MGM Grand, Harmon served as Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Rio Suite Hotel-Casino, where he managed employee relations and communications, developed key communication and retention strategies, and coached the company’s management team to improve employee relation skills. Harmon also directed the pre-opening and hiring campaigns for the Aladdin Resort-Casino’s 4,200 job openings in 1999 and the Palms Resort’s 2,000 job openings in 2001. He oversaw the development and implementation of all HR programs and functions including policies and procedures, employee relations, compensation plans, recruitment and hiring. Fred Harmon recently launched Human Resources Solutions with the Venetian Macau project, which included directing all human resources functions and the recruitment and hiring of more than 4,000 employees, to successfully open the gaming property in Macau, China.
