Robert Rose Angel Flight West, Hospital and Agency Outreach Coordinator Robert Rose has over 25 years of executive experience directing service, customer service and manufacturing operations across a broad range of high-tech operations. Most recently Robert was Vice President and General Manager of one of the top 10 computer manufacturing operations in the US, where he positioned the company to achieve the highest metrics in the industry for customer service, quality and operational efficiencies. He has run both in house service and world wide field service operations, in addition to leading manufacturing for groups within Wyle Systems, CompUSA and Tandy Corp. As a seasoned leader of major after sale product support operations Robert also served as regional service director for both Toshiba and NEC. A veteran in the aviation field, Robert spent several years directing engineering, service, installation and manufacturing for a part of the Hughes-Avicom group focused on in-seat interactive and cross format video systems for commercial aircraft. He is a seasoned pilot and aircraft owner, and can be frequently found acting as a command pilot and fundraiser for the Angel Flight organization. He has recently taken on the responsibilities of hospital and agency outreach coordinator for in the State of Nevada for Angel Flight West. Robert attended the University of Maryland for Business Administration and Political Science and then went on to The Capital Institute of Technology in Maryland to study Electronic Engineering. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and an active member of APICS, and ASQ. He lives here in Las Vegas with his wife and two children. He holds a commercial pilots license with and Instrument rating, and over the past two years Robert has flown his single engine Cessna over 43 states and three countries. |
