George R. Haskell is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Haskell & Associates, Inc., where he provides the vision, leadership and expertise for building a research and consulting concern that anticipates, creates and implements effective systematic defenses in all areas of corporate security. Before founding Haskell & Associates, Inc., in Las Vegas in 2005, Mr. Haskell spent over 20 years in senior executive security positions and is nationally recognized for his contribution and extensive background in corporate security, loss prevention, strategic planning, risk assessment and mitigation, vulnerability reduction, high-risk and high profile events, executive protection and security hardware and design.
Previously, Haskell served as Vice President, Security Operations and Director of Security (1995-2005) for RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL in New York City . His work ranged from developing and implementing all aspects of large-scale security protocols (post 9-11-2001) to protect employees, patrons and members including responsibility for the security operations for events including: Radio City's Christmas Spectacular; MTV's Video Music Awards; Grammy Awards; Daytime Emmy Awards; TONY Awards; and Time Magazine's 75 th Anniversary.
Haskell was also Corporate Director of Loss Prevention and Security for BARNEYS NEW YORK, INC., (1990-1995) and Director of Corporate Security and Loss Prevention for J CREW GROUP, INC., in New York (1982-1990) where he had responsibility for the design and implementation of internal and external security control programs for executive and divisional offices, distribution and warehouse centers, specialty retail, and various real estate concerns.
Mr. Haskell's experience and expertise is hands-on and extensive. With past and current memberships in the American Society of Industrial Security, American College of Forensic Examiners (Homeland Security Certification -- CHS Level 111), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE), Rockefeller Center Security Directors and New York Police Chief's Benevolent Association, his ability to devise effective and practical preventive security measures has earned him industry acclaim. In addition, Haskell has attended many special programs at nationally recognized institutions including the New York City Police Department Intelligence Division Specialized Dignitary Protection Course, as well as numerous detection, investigation and fraud prevention programs through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Haskell has also been recognized for receiving the U.S. Secret Service Certificate of Appreciation Award for “Valued Assistance and Cooperation” for protecting President Clinton and other dignitaries and Heads of State at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the Presidents Award by the Passaic Police Department, Passaic, N.J., and named in “Who's Who in Law Enforcement”. He has authored numerous articles for trade organization publications including the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) Security Management Magazine and Access Control and Security Systems Magazine . He is a frequent lecturer and presenter in the corporate business, entertainment, music and sports arenas.
