Format: 6 – 7pm Guest Speaker We court well-respected industry leaders and invite them to discuss their business and the path they took to get there. Seats are limited. Please arrive early. (See past speaker) (Nominate a future speaker) 7pm Mixer Begins Light entertainment begins, complimentary hor’s d’oerves provided by celebrity chef and B.U.S.E. member Charlie Palmer are passed butler style. 7 – 10pm The Business Card Collection Contest Every Tuesday in an effort to kick-start the mix and mingle efforts we offer a business card collection contest, the one who collects the most business cards is awarded a complimentary bottle of champagne. Member Spotlights -B.U.S.E. takes pride in our members and we enjoy shining the spotlight on them so from time to time in an effort to share their successes with all of us. If you are interested in being a member spotlight please email memberspotlight@BUSEclub.com. Guest Speakers -Each week from 6 – 7pm we court industry leaders and ask them to tell us their story. In addition to their life story the guests touch on their existing business and highlight some of the Critical Success Factors that are specific to their business and industry. The speaker sessions are more of discussion groups. The room is set up in a very approachable manner and all are welcome to attend. All we ask is that those who attend arrive on time as to not interrupt the guest speaker of the night and that all chatter is kept to a minimum. These talented people have made time in their busy schedule and we appreciate and respect their time. Charity Events -One of the most important items to the founders of B.U.S.E. and the members is taking the time to give back to the local community. Quarterly B.U.S.E. and the members pull together as many resources as we can collectively and produce a charity event to raise money for some of the under funded and under recognized charitable organizations. Active Members -Those individuals who have been accepted as members, and those who have then completely filled out the member profile, and finally those who have been issued membership cards. In-Active Members -Members who are currently receiving the newsletters and are updated on future events. The In-Active Members do not have membership cards. In order to receive a membership card they will need to contact Sabrina Orque directly and she will assist you with the process of becoming a full member. Profile Update -The only way to stay current with all of the special events and a furthermore to have a membership card made you MUST update your profile. How do you update your profile? The only way to update your profile is to click the “Update your profile” tab at the bottom of the email newsletter. If you are not receiving the newsletter than you will need to start the process all over again. That process starts with the “Membership” tab located on the site at www.BUSEclub.com. Head Hunter Service -B.U.S.E. members are some of the most affluent and high profile “Movers and Shakers” in the city. We have found a demand for discreetly listing Executive level Position Seekers. Now as a service to our members B.U.S.E. we can list the qualifications of talented individuals who are in the market for a change in career or a change in current employers.
